On 23 February 2024, the Lublin Conference Centre hosted a conference of the Lublin Digital Union (LUC) scientific project on the theme: The use of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in medicine. Representatives of three Lublin universities participating in the LUC project took part in panel discussions and presentations. The project partners are: the Medical University of Lublin, the University of Life Sciences and the Lublin University of Technology. The project manager on behalf of the Medical University of Lublin, Prof. Robert Rejdak, MD, stated that the Lublin Digital Union project is intended to stimulate cooperation between universities in Lublin. Previously, there was a lack of cooperation between many specialists from different industries in the implementation of particularly ambitious projects, and this new organisational formula was needed to intensify the work and increase its effectiveness.
